The outdoor bath was the highlight for us. We spent hours relaxing in the hot bubbles, and even the rain made it feel perfect, with cold raindrops falling around us. We also had a lovely BBQ on the decking, and the fire pit was great, especially with marshmallows provided. We stayed in the paddywack pod for a belated birthday treat from 23/10/25-25/10/25, and it was 100000% worth it. The area is beautiful as soon as you arrive, and the pod was stunning, with everything we needed and more. The basket of treats was a lovely extra. We’ll definitely come back and recommend it to everyone. The new inn chinese is worth a visit too, the food was delicious!x

We booked all four pods for a week with our extended family, so we had the place to ourselves. The pods and the setting are gorgeous, and we had a lovely stay. There are fantastic walks nearby, York is a short drive away, and Flamingo Land isn’t far if you’re keeping the kids happy. Cooper King distillery is an easy walk too, though the walk back took longer! The Chinese in the next village is rather gorgeous as well. The owners went above and beyond to sort out some things my son had left behind. All in all, a fantastic week.

We were lucky enough to be the only ones staying on our second night, and the site was so quiet. The pods are adorable, fully equipped for a break away, and there’s a BBQ and a firepit with kindling and firewood. They even provide marshmallows for toasting. The hot tub was a lovely extra, especially with the warm, pleasant weather. It’s a small spot, about an hour from Filey/East Coast, with just three glamping pods at the moment and a fourth coming soon. We’d highly recommend it.

We loved the whole stay, from arriving to leaving. The welcoming basket was lovely, and we had no problems at all. It’s a wonderful glamping site, and I’d highly recommend it to others. We’ll definitely go back.

Ravensdale glamping pods is cosy, well equipped and handy for bus routes and some great walking spots. But I do have a slight criticism. It’s aimed at families and couples wanting a retreat, and personally I don’t think those two things work well together. For a relaxing couples break, the chance of small children screaming and playing around isn’t the vibe you want. Our stay wasn’t the best, especially when one family of four brought visitors from another three families, who were there for most of the day. In my opinion that isn’t acceptable. It’s not a caravan park.
