This self-catering place is just across the bridge from old Sterling, with three bedrooms, a welcome basket, and convenient parking in a private gravel lot next door. A few things were broken when we arrived, the shower power switch and hob extractor fan, but the owners live next door and eventually arranged repairs. There was a musty smell, and some room corners seemed to have mold. The bathroom had no extractor fan, so the only way to clear shower steam was to open a tiny window. Some carpet spots were stained, and finding a Lego in one of the rugs made us wonder when it had last been cleaned.

Lesley lives next door and is so friendly. She clearly wants guests to feel comfortable and happy. The house was fantastically clean and had everything we could want for a few days, a week, or longer while visiting Stirling and the surrounding area. Thanks for a great break!

The rib eye was lovely, and the Hunters Chicken with Haggis was really nice too.

Couldn't fault a thing. Fantastic accommodation, with everything you need and plenty more. This is what a proper rental should be. Thanks again, ally.
