Springfield Lodge B&B

We went to Springfield Lodge B & B at the end of October and had a lovely stay. Our room was bright, airy and very clean, and breakfast was delicious. The hosts were friendly and chatted with us, answering questions and suggesting things to see nearby and along the drive to Inverness. I can’t recommend this B & B highly enough.

Kevin and Kim made us feel so welcome. Room 5 was nicely decorated and had everything we needed, with a spotless en-suite of a comfortable size. The strong water pressure and optional rain shower head made for a refreshing shower. There’s a guest book full of useful information and contacts to help make a Stirling visit memorable. Following their suggestion, we had dinner at Birds and Bees Restaurant, a two-minute walk down Cornton Road, and it was amazing. Breakfast at Springfield was delicious, with a beautiful view from the dining room. Thanks, Kevin and Kim, for such a delightful stay. We’d give you 10 stars if we could!

Springfield Lodge felt like home as soon as my husband and I arrived. The host was so friendly and served us a delicious breakfast personally, which made us feel special. Our room was dreamy and romantic, just right for a getaway. We loved our stay and are already making plans to come back. Highly recommend!

We only managed one night here at the end of our trip, but we’d definitely return. Kim and Kevin were so welcoming, and everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful, and we discovered potato scones and loved them. There’s also an amazing view of the Wallace Monument right from the window. Highly recommend.
