Free Wi-Fi, and a good place to stay, but there are a few things to know. Only three spaces outside the restaurant are for hotel guests. The rest of the car park belongs to the council and requires payment. Register your car at the red door of the security hut by the front gate, or you could get fined. I struggled to find reception because there are no signs for it. I asked at the restaurant reception and they sent me to another employee to sign in. On Sunday at 7am, people outside were laughing loudly and woke me up. I’d give it 7 out of 10.

The rooms are spacious, quiet, and beautifully clean, and the price is great. But they’re a long way from anything you’d want to see, do, or need while in Stoke On Trent. The location really isn’t good.

It’s handy for the station, which is a great location. My main gripe was the blinds: they let the morning sun in quickly while I was trying to sleep. Check-out at 10am also felt pretty early.

The Stoke Town centre location worked well, and the station is about a 10-minute walk away. The room was on the small side, but had what I needed: a microwave, hob, kettle, and a shower in its own bathroom. The finish could be better for a room that required a deposit, especially as I’d already paid in full before arriving.

A roomy place for my first stay this week, with an en suite and a comfortable bed. It was easy to check in since all the details came by text. There’s a small kitchen with a hob and microwave, plus a kettle and basic crockery and cutlery.
