Highfields Farm Bed and Breakfast

Steph, Warren and our staffy Bruno stayed from Thursday evening until Tuesday 23rd January 2024. The little barn was lovely, clean and fresh, and very warm. Keith and Jennifer, who own it, made us feel welcome. There’s a kitchen, living room, bedroom with an ensuite, and another bathroom with a shower through a door off the living room. Upstairs there’s also a twin bedroom with a bathroom. You can see the horses and chickens, and there are two lovely dogs and a white cat as well. The scenery is amazing, and dogs are welcome. We’d stay again, always five stars in our eyes. x

The farm was gorgeous at both sunset and sunrise. My little boy and I stayed after a day at CBeebies land, and our cute little room had everything we needed for a cosy night. In the morning we watched the sun come up through the bedroom window, then went out to meet the horses. A full English made with fresh, good-quality ingredients and cooked perfectly was just what we needed after such a hectic day. Many thanks for having us. Tara & Reggie

Breakfast was lovely, with plenty to choose from and good-quality ingredients. Our room was clean and up to a really good standard, with a comfy bed, and the host gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. We’ll book again.

I loved how relaxed and comfortable the stay was, and the animals were wonderful. I made friends with all of them. Breakfast was spot on, especially with eggs fresh from their chickens. I’d live there! 😍
