The room was a good size, and the location and price both worked well. I liked having self-serve breakfast and water available. There’s a washer and dryer, though I couldn’t figure out how to use the dryer at first. The host replied quickly and sorted it out, and using both machines costs £10. The room could’ve been cleaner, and shampoo, conditioner and a hairdryer weren’t provided. Still, it was a good stay.

I spent eight nights in Stonehaven on my own, and Rooms at 31 made a comfortable home away from home. Anna was cheerful whenever we crossed paths, checked that everything was all right and said I should ask if I needed anything. The place had all the amenities I needed. I’d happily come back.

The kitchen and dining space were very clean, with a small continental breakfast available, and we could cook for ourselves and use a mini fridge. The other guests were quiet and considerate. The couple who run the place were friendly and accommodating, and we thought the room was fairly priced. My only suggestion would be to give the upstairs carpets, especially in room 6, a more thorough clean. I’m not sure whether pets are allowed, and I can see how carpet stains might happen in a pet-friendly place; carpets are hard to keep clean anyway. Thanks!

We had everything we needed for a stop during our road trip. The beds were comfortable, and there was a separate breakfast and dining room. The shared kitchen was fully functional if we wanted to use it. Service was friendly and attentive whenever we needed it.

No31 Rooms has a quirky, rather trendy feel, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a real highlight: the dining room was immaculate, with plenty of fruit, cereal and everything for a good continental spread. Parking was easy, and Stonehaven centre was only a few minutes away. I’d definitely recommend it to family and friends, and I’ll be back. Thanks again!
