Really good job by the Premier Inn team tonight. I went straight to my room, which was very clean, and the sealed windows kept road noise out. Reception staff were superb, one even came out to the pub to serve my main meal. The food was pretty good, though there were a couple of chewy bits in the chicken. The Indian girl in the pub section gave first-class table service and was a real credit to Premier Inn.

The breakfast was very good and the staff were lovely. The hotel is in a great spot, and I’m sure it’ll be a nice place once the refurbishment is done. They’re in the middle of upgrading it, and it definitely needs the work: the bed was lovely, but the room looked tired, had holes in the curtains and smelled musty.

I’ve stayed here lots for work and it’s been consistently great. Harleen and Jess are attentive and personable, and the hotel itself is a lovely place to stay. I can’t recommend it enough.

The reception team sorted out a few room problems quickly on Thursday evening, and Rachel and Ellie followed that with excellent service. Rachel goes above and beyond for the staff, while Ellie makes sure everyone has what they need. At breakfast the next morning, Steph and Kayleigh were especially attentive. Thank you all for making the stay so good.

Steph is always chatty at breakfast and takes care of specific food requests, like poached eggs. Rachel manages the team really well, and Hindi and Maz at reception greet you with a warm smile. Rachel, Eli, Steph, Hindi, Maz and the whole team made my stay enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble. Great hotel.
