We stayed overnight, and though the room felt a little tired, it was clean, comfortable and everything worked. The Sunday carvery was among the best I've ever had, with as much as you can eat. Staff were friendly and polite, and food and bar prices were very reasonable. I'd go out of my way to eat there again, whether for the carvery or the excellent Indian cuisine. I strongly recommend a visit, you won't be disappointed.

We stopped in with my parents for breakfast at 11.00 and were made very welcome. The staff looked after us especially well because my mother is elderly and uses a wheelchair. They were patient with us as she eats very slowly. We had a pleasant visit and an excellent breakfast, and we're very grateful. Highly recommended.

Rana made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and told us some of the building's history, including the well inside. We really enjoyed the Friday evening Indian buffet, and couldn't fault the food. Our room was clean and simple, though it might need a few touch-ups down the line. That didn't affect our weekend at all. We'd happily stay here again if we're back in the area. Thanks again, GS Rana, for such lovely hospitality.

The meat was tender, tasty, and there was plenty of it. The chef also gives the vegetables a special touch. Best Sunday carvery I've had, by far, and much better than any other I've tried. I'd highly recommend it.

The Indian buffet was a real hit with us. The food was great quality and there was plenty to choose from, plus the staff were really friendly. We'll definitely come back in the new year.
