The accommodation was immaculately clean, contemporary, and just like the advertised photos. Our apartment faced away from the main road, so it was quiet. I'm not sure whether any apartments face the road, which is very busy. Parking opposite was very convenient, and the cooking facilities were excellent. Bring your own salt, pepper and oil, though there's a Co-Op mini supermarket a couple of minutes away. It's a great central Cotswold base for exploring. The town is pretty and quieter than other towns, which makes it feel more authentic and personal. We had no trouble finding accommodation.

We'd definitely book these apartments again. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked, and we had everything we needed for a weekend away. The only issue was the heating: one bathroom stayed very cold whatever we did, though the rest of the apartment could be heated. The apartments are reached by several steps, which was fine for us, and we felt secure with the different entry codes. They're spacious and in a perfect spot for exploring Stow.

I arrived to find I couldn't get into the hotel: nobody had given me an access code, and the phone number on the gate keypad had been ripped off. After walking down the road to another place to work out what was happening, I eventually reached someone from unicorn. She was rude and kept insisting that booking.com had sent me a payment link, and that I hadn't received a code because I hadn't paid through it. I hadn't booked through booking.com. I'd left my card details with the service I used, and my confirmation said payment was due at the venue on arrival. I said it seemed like a scam and I wasn't paying money to something that looked like it was trying to get money out of me. The woman said booking.com would take me to court for their money, then hung up. I tried to escalate it with the service I actually used, but they were useless. I'm convinced this premises isn't real. Stay away.

We booked the Bourton apartment for my in-laws' 40th wedding anniversary, and wow, it was stunning. The place was huge, super spacious, clean, and the decor was divine. It had everything we might have needed to cook and stay in, though the location is fabulous for walking into Stow, with lots of restaurants and pubs to choose from. It's on a busy road but was so quiet inside. Parking was great for the location, and the directions and pre-arrival instructions were easy to follow. The team were amazing too. We texted to ask for more coffee pods and had a whole box to enjoy within 30 minutes. We'll definitely stay again when we're in the area.

There's lots to explore nearby if you have a car, and the apartments are beautiful and well located. Our flat was very spacious with great amenities. The walls are very thin, though, and you can hear everything from the next flat. If you're only in for a couple of hours to rest, that isn't an issue. Overall, good.
