I booked a night here while I was in the area for a work interview, and have been raving about the place to colleagues and family ever since. The room was big, spotless, just the right temperature, and had everything I needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I had the best sleep I’ve had in months. The house is stunning, in a great location with amazing views, and the owners were lovely and very accommodating. They were easy to chat with and had loads of local knowledge. Highly recommend.

Brendan was so welcoming and friendly, and even offered to prepare food for my onward journey. I stayed one night before catching a ferry across to N Ireland. My deluxe double room had a fantastic sea view, and was tidy, comfortable and equipped with everything I needed. I’d like to return when I have more time to relax instead of being here for work. Definitely recommend.

Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh, locally sourced options to suit different tastes. Brendan made sure I was well looked after, whether I wanted a full Scottish or something lighter. This charming B&B in Stranraer is an ideal spot, close to the town centre but peaceful, with breathtaking sea views from the window. Waking up to that view was a treat. A great choice for a relaxing coastal break with comfort, good food and genuine hospitality.

The hosts were kind and peaceful, and Brendan was so generous. I was there for a wedding, and he drove me to the venue so I didn’t need a taxi. He also kindly let me stay a little past checkout so I could sort my hair. The sea view from the location was amazing, the omelette at breakfast was wonderful, and the bed was huge and comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. Couldn’t have asked for more :-D

We stayed one night before taking the ferry to Belfast. Brendan is an absolute gem. He got up incredibly early to make us a hearty, tasty takeaway breakfast at 5:30AM for our 7AM ferry, even though we didn’t want to bother him that early. Our sea view room had a beautiful view and was clean and well appointed, with coffee, water and tea. The giant king sized bed was very comfortable. Thank you, Brendan!
