The wildlife was the highlight for us. We had a family of swans come right up to the steps every day, cows came right beside the double room's window, and the kids watched wild rabbits hopping about. The lodge is right by the river and fields, and Rob and Denny have made it feel like a home from home. The little touches were lovely, and Denny's paintings were great. It's only a few minutes' drive into Stratford town centre, or 8-10 minutes by bus. Tiddington has a local spar store for groceries about a 20 minute walk away, with a pub and restaurants nearby too. If you want a peaceful country getaway while still being within easy travelling distance for sightseeing, this is a great place. We booked after reading the reviews and can honestly say they were right. I'd love to book again when I'm back in stratford.

This was our second stay at this beautiful lodge by the river near Stratford. It’s really relaxing, and an easy walk into Stratford.

Great for tourists, with superb views and a spot close to Stratford. The place feels very historical.
