Stratford Studios

The studio had its own kitchenette and washing machine, so it'd work well for a short break. It's right near the town centre, just a few minutes' walk from good pubs, restaurants, shops and sightseeing spots. We booked at the last minute and were glad we did. The room was spotless and spacious, had everything we needed, and even came with a quiet little courtyard. Mark, the owner, was lovely, as was his colleague. We'd definitely return, and stay longer next time. There's no parking on site, but a nearby car park is available. For £6 they can provide a permit for 24 hours. There are a couple of spaces outside the terrace house that's part of Mark's hotel, but if they're occupied, stopping is difficult on the busy road with double yellow lines. It may be easier to park and walk across to the hotel.
