My sister surprised my husband for his 60th birthday by booking two nights here. The rooms were lovely, clean, and bright, although a bit too warm, with no way to adjust the temperature, so we opened a window. I gave the staff a cake to bring to him at breakfast, and they played music. They were all great and fussed over my sister's dog, nothing was too much trouble. From the managers to the cleaners, everyone was friendly and courteous. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. We couldn't fault the hotel or staff and would definitely stay again.

The food and service made the day memorable, and I'd like to visit again. At our one-day meeting and evening meal, the staff were friendly and professional throughout, checking in regularly and keeping the coffee topped up, which we appreciated. The buffet lunch was great, especially the soup and buffet fish and chips. The evening meal was great too, with attentive service that never felt intrusive. Their suggestions and the quality and variety of food and wine suited a large party well. Opposite the theatre, the location is perfect for a Stratford stay.

We couldn't have been happier with our wedding at The Arden Hotel. The room was changed from ceremony setup to dinner and then the evening party seamlessly, and the day ran smoothly. From the first meetings and food tastings through to the wedding itself, the team worked hard to meet all our wishes with warmth, care, and professionalism. Thanks especially to Slava and Meet for accommodating our sometimes fussy requests, and to everyone involved, from hotel manager Sai to Amelia serving drinks to our guests. We're so grateful to all of you for making the occasion special.

The hotel is nice and in a great location. We had afternoon tea, but although the pot of tea for two arrived quickly, the sandwiches and cakes took another 25 minutes. That wasn't ideal, especially since the sandwiches were a little dry, though it didn't spoil the occasion entirely. The lady serving us did apologise for the wait.

We can't fault our stay. The hotel is central, with plenty of parking and close to town, the river, shops, and pubs. Our beautifully decorated room had plenty of toiletries, tea and coffee, robes and slippers for both guests, plus water and milk. The bedding was sumptuous and the bed very comfortable. We had a beautiful dinner in our own room as part of a large group, with staff taking our orders and bringing everything at no extra cost. Breakfast was just as delicious, with a great selection, and again we had our own room. The staff were helpful, polite, and efficient.
