We first stopped by for a drink a few weeks ago and spotted the excellent tapas menu. Since we're big fans of Spanish cuisine, we came back the following week to try some of our favourites. These were some of the most authentic tapas I've had in the UK. With the sun finally out, it almost felt like being on holiday.

The rooms were lovely and spacious, and the hotel is a nice, reasonably priced place right in the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon. We booked four rooms for eight people and were told on arrival that continental breakfast was included for everyone. The next morning, someone else said it was only included for people who booked directly, not through Expedia as we did. That was confusing, and since we paid over £1000 between us, it would've been nice if they'd honoured the first promise. It's still a great base to explore from.

The staff were nasty to my wife and very rude to us. They also left our pints short of a full measure. The other pubs in Stratford were fine, but this place was bad.

We were surprised by how quiet it was at night, even though this public house is close to central Stratford Upon Avon and handy for all the amenities. Our room was bright and airy, with a huge bathroom that had both a bath and shower. The staff were very friendly, and the varied breakfast came in generous portions. A very happy stay, and I’d happily recommend it.

The team were warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful, and the service was impeccable. We also really enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. Our room was beautiful, and the location worked perfectly for exploring town and getting to the theatres. It was a dream stay, and I can’t wait to visit again!
