YHA Stratford-upon-Avon - Hostel

I booked a two-person en-suite room for one night in Jan, and it was perfect. I had tea in the restaurant and breakfast there too, and was very happy with everything. The team were all super friendly and attentive. I’ll be back.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the showers had plenty of hot water. Breakfast was plentiful, all you care to eat, with the usual choices for about £5/£10 depending on whether you pick continental or cooked. The old main building has loads of character and plenty of room for groups to gather or find a quieter spot. There are the usual facilities, including washing machines and a big drying room, though no tumble dryer. At the time I stayed, a clothes wash cost £4. A nice extra was seeing the other guests’ energy. There were a couple of older school/college groups, polite and engaged in their experience, and on the whole quiet after 11 pm. A lovely Youth Hostel.

Really impressed by the great facilities, the fantastic value and the lovely stay. The staff were welcoming and naturally friendly without being OTT. Thanks!

A great kitchen for cooking and laundry, and the best value for money ever. The place was pristinely clean, with immaculate fittings, beds and linen. Many five-star hotels aren’t cleaned this well. A no-frills delight that absolutely changes how you think about Hostels.
