The chicken and ham pie special was WOW, with a choice of mash or chips. We went for chips, and the meal was fantastic, restaurant-quality food at lunchtime. It’s the best lunch I’ve had in a long, long time. Locals sent us to this inn for lunch on Sat 28th Feb. We’d walked right past without noticing it, but inside it was clean and inviting. A very pleasant, helpful young lady gave us the lunchtime menus. Thank you all.

A nice place to stay over, with clean, comfortable rooms and good en suite facilities. The restaurant food was very good and breakfast excellent. They had almond milk, and possibly other options too, though I didn’t ask.

We’ve stayed twice and I absolutely love the place. I’ll book again. The location is excellent, and the rooms are spacious with what you need. The road outside is fairly noisy during the day, but goes quiet at night. It’s dog friendly, with parking out the back. Dinner was AMAZING, proper home cooked food, no boil in the bag jobs here. Breakfast is LOVELY, and they’re accommodating if you want to switch things up. The veggie breakfast comes with fried apple. I don’t know why, but it takes me back to growing up and the apple sandwiches Mum used to make.

Parking was easy, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was large and comfortable, with a good walk-in shower. The hotel was welcoming, and the meals were tasty and served in large portions.

We stopped in for breakfast and were served by a very helpful, polite young lady. The full English came with coffee and juice, all for just £9:50. A fantastic place, thank you.
