Forest view Bed and Breakfast

This was our fifth visit, and we still love staying in the Marrekesh yurt. The hot tub has a great view, it’s cosy inside with the Woodburner on, and the host is fantastic.

We spent a quiet couple of nights warming ourselves by the fire each evening, and it was lovely. When we arrived after dark in December, the tent and hot tub were lit up and ready. The tent had been decorated for Christmas, with thoughtful treats including mince pies, marshmallows, crisps, milk, tea and coffee, plus candy canes and chocolates on the tree. The hot tub was hot, and both the indoor and outdoor fires were ready too. It felt like a lot of care had gone into making the stay special.

The night sky and views are amazing, and the surroundings are beautiful. The tents are lovely, the breakfasts are fabulous, and the kids even got tiny pastries. Ali is a great host, while ducks and chickens roam around and come to visit throughout the day. The poppy tent works well for four people, and Marrakesh is perfect for five. Tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper are provided. We loved it and will be back.

The room was small, but it came with loads of nice extras: toiletries, snacks, cake, hot drinks and fresh milk. Ali was a lovely, friendly host, and the full English breakfast was wonderful. She even let my daughter, who was camping elsewhere, join me for breakfast. Thanks Ali.
