We had a smaller room at Amberlea House, but it was comfortably furnished and exceptionally clean. The breakfast was perfect, with porridge and fresh fruit among the choices. We spent two nights there and really enjoyed our stay. Thanks for the warm welcome and great service. We'd love to return.

It did the job for the one night I needed, but I wouldn't choose it for a stay of several days. The rooms are tiny and dated, with decor that felt like stepping into your nan's house. It wasn't filthy, but it wasn't clean either, with dust and hairs in the bathroom.

The room was spacious and nicely decorated, with lovely furnishings, a comfortable bed and somewhere to sit. It had everything we needed. Despite being on the main road, it was very quiet, and the sea and town are only a short walk away. We didn't try breakfast, so I can't comment on that. We'd definitely return.

Martin gave us a friendly welcome when we arrived, and the room was clean and nicely presented. I'd emailed ahead to ask for an early check-in, and they kindly arranged it. Breakfast was delicious, and they easily adapted mine to suit my dietary requirements. The seafront and town are just minutes away, and booking was very easy.

Breakfast was excellent, and I'd stay again. The guest house was lovely, with a clean room, tea and coffee in the room, and free parking. Shops and the beach are within walking distance.
