The Limes

We had room 14, which was large, clean and comfortable, with a massive bathroom. There was water and fresh milk in the fridge, and we loved the village and the walks. From booking through to the stay, everything was amazing. The lady on the phone was helpful and a pleasure to speak with, and the check-in and check-out instructions were clear. Definitely going back.

The room was clean and well set up, but small, with a minimalist feel and a self-service setup. No staff were around, and the living room and bar shown in the adverts were locked and unavailable to guests. The front porch was somewhere to sit, and the line for drying laundry was handy. We couldn’t really sit in our room, so we went looking for places to spend time in town. The location is convenient. We’d hoped for more, but if all you need is a room, this place is fine.

Sarah and Jason were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. We had a lovely night at The Limes, in a clean, beautiful room with a balcony and sea view. The bed was really comfortable and the pillows were amazing. It’s in a great location, just a short walk from the high street and seafront. The breakfast was delicious. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it to friends and family.

We had a sea view room for three nights, with my wife, daughter and dog, and it was satisfactory for us. My only gripe was the shower cubicle: it wasn’t a luxurious size, and I personally didn’t use it. The bathroom could easily be redesigned to fit a larger shower. Parking was never a problem, with spaces at the rear of The Limes. Not having breakfast served was fine, as there are plenty of places to eat within a five minute walk. We’d definitely return to The Limes.
