I felt extremely unsafe here. While I was alone, a stranger came into the property and walked around near my apartment door. It terrified me, so I called the police and they arrived immediately. I left straight away because the place felt very, very unsafe. The building also looks strange from outside and feels very cramped inside. The bed was dirty and stained, and not clean at all.

For an affordable stay, this Swansea studio was a real gem, with its own bathroom and kitchen, fast Internet, TV and free parking. The decor isn’t flawless for Instagram, but it suited our visit to friends in a lively city by the sea. Mumbles and the Gower were easy to reach too.

I spent two weeks here on business and had a wonderful stay at the Copper House. The location felt a little unfamiliar at first, but I settled in within a day or two. It’s safe, very well maintained and worked really well for me as a solo female traveller. Lauren and Sharon handled most of my bookings and were lovely. Staff replied and dealt with concerns within seconds. I’d definitely recommend it.

The Copper House team were easy to contact, and the service was very nice. The location is handy, with shops and bus stops nearby. The rooms were clean and had what we needed, though they felt a little minimalist. For two of us, the bed was a bit too small and the mattress wasn’t great, but overall we were very happy with our stay. I didn’t find it too loud. Free earplugs are available at the entrance if needed, and the loud trains don’t run at night.

For a three-night stay, this studio was great value and I’d happily book it again. It’s well placed for Swansea city centre and had a clean apartment, a good oven and all the facilities I needed to cook dinner. The nearby train track wasn’t really noticeable with the windows shut, and it didn’t disturb our sleep, even though I’m a very light sleeper.
