Shoreline Hotel

We got a lovely welcome from the owner, and breakfast had a range of choices. The hotel was clean and tidy, with a warm, homely feel and very spacious bedrooms. The bathrooms are quite small. I’d definitely stay again.

Everything you need is within easy walking distance, and it’s a perfect base for exploring. The room was quirky and beautiful, and the service couldn’t have been better. The fry-up was the best we’ve had in years. Well worth the money, and I’ll recommend it to all our friends and family.

We went to the Shoreline for a meal last week and will be back with friends. It’s under new management by a local chef, and the food was excellent and great value. I had all three courses, while my wife chose two and tucked into some of my dessert. Everything, from the starters to dessert, was clearly home cooked. My wife’s duck main was absolutely delicious, and the waiting staff were polite and friendly.

I’ve stayed here more than once and it’s been great each time. The staff add thoughtful personal touches and clearly care. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and a step up in quality from a certain established hotel a couple of doors down, in my opinion. There are comfy beds, big TVs, nice little en-suites, and a hot, tasty breakfast every day.
