The location is hard to beat, and we were given a sea view room even though we hadn’t booked one. They also let us check in early because it was ready. Free parking is available if you can find a space along the road the hotel is on. Mumbles has very few places that welcome dogs, so we appreciated being able to stay here. It’s dated, but the bed was comfortable enough and the bathroom was clean. The staff were lovely and our room was refreshed daily.

For a peaceful place to unwind, I’d definitely give the Carlton Hotel a try. The team is kind, the service was excellent, and the space was very clean. Thank you for such a nice stay.

We had a lovely sea view and the hotel made a good base for what we needed. Julie was lovely, and so was Sheree in the bar. It got a bit noisy at night, so I wish we’d brought a fan and could have kept the windows shut.

The lunch at my event was delicious: fresh sandwiches, tasty homemade sausage rolls, moreish coronation chicken bites, cakes, and scones. Julie and the rest of the Carlton staff helped make it such a lovely day. I recently held a reception here too, and the staff were so accommodating that nothing felt like too much trouble. It’s in a fabulous location and a great place for an event.
