We paused here for a drink during a long walk, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The setting was superb, with lovely countryside around the edge of a quintessentially English village. The pub and gardens mix old and modern nicely. There are rooms in a separate block, and if they're anything like the rest of the place, I'm sure they'd be lovely too. No photos, my phone had run out of charge and was plugged in behind the bar while we relaxed in the garden! ☺️

The river and lovely surroundings made this a great place to stay near the Cotswolds. We spent the night after having dinner at The Farmer's Dog, and I enjoyed the meal here even more. The Swan Inn has a classic old look outside and a modern interior, and our room was warm despite the very cold spring weather. The staff were kind and pleasant. I'm vegetarian, and they made a nice adjustment to the full English breakfast for me. It was delicious. We had a view from our window, and I wish we'd stayed another night. Would highly recommend it if you're heading to the Cotswolds.

The staff made us feel so personally looked after, while everything still ran like clockwork. That balance of generous hospitality and professionalism was just right. We spent two nights at Swan Inn to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and the setting couldn't have been better. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, the staff were delightful, and both breakfasts and both dinners were exceptional. We'd love to return.

A big, nicely arranged beer garden, just right for a pint on a hot day. I didn't try the food, but the menu looked good and the customers seemed very happy.

We had a very nice Sunday lunch at this lovely pub in the Oxfordshire countryside. The online prices need updating, though. The meal prices were a few pounds out, and the wine price was much further off. The rosé was listed at £7.50 for 175ml, but the bill charged £10.40 for a 175ml glass. A bit disappointing.
