There are a couple of food and drink options within a 10-minute walk, and Colin's breakfast really hits the spot. Just don't forget the day job, Colin, and get the electrics sorted! The hotel is near perfect for what I need, even if I'd ideally have it a little closer to town. The bus stop is only a few hundred yards away, and the ride takes around 20 minutes. I don't think I'll go back to the Holiday Inn unless it's £20 a night, and even then, I reckon I'd pay extra to stay here.

The building is a lovely, pretty listed property, and we really enjoyed a relaxed stay. Our room was huge, with a large en-suite bathroom and tea and coffee facilities. The host was lovely, very welcoming and looked after us well. We could pick a breakfast time up until 11am, which is really unusual, so there was no rush. Breakfast was 100% perfect. I'd definitely go again.

The hosts made me feel completely welcome, and were absolutely great, friendly and accommodating. I arrived fairly late in the evening and planned to leave around 5:30 am, so they offered me a takeaway breakfast and let me settle up that evening. The room was spotless, and so was the en suite.

Colin called ahead to check on my arrival, and Anne couldn't do enough for me. Nothing was too much trouble. The shower was powerful, the bed super comfy, and breakfast was cooked to order and air fried for healthy perfection. An absolute gem of a B&B.
