Getting into York in the evenings was easy by Uber or taxi, which suited us since we didn't want to drive. The countryside setting is still only minutes from the racecourse, designer outlet and Park and Ride. Our room was spacious, spotless and comfortable, and Catherine was such a friendly, accommodating host. Breakfast was outstanding, with everything fresh and cooked perfectly. Of the B&Bs we've stayed in, this is the best. We'd recommend it without hesitation.

Our room was warm, spacious and spotlessly clean, and Christine made us feel welcome from the start. She also had plenty of useful suggestions for places to eat and visit. We had a perfect few days away and would happily book here again the next time we're visiting York.

The room was lovely and comfortable, with a fabulous bathroom, and breakfast was fantastic. Catherine was a brilliant host who was happy to help with anything. We had a great time, and the location was excellent. If we're in the area again, we'd gladly stay here.

Catherine was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in spacious, quiet Room 1 for two nights, getting away with my partner to celebrate her 70th birthday. Breakfast had everything you could want, and the place was very clean. We enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to anyone. There were lots of apples on the orchard trees, and they came at no extra charge! Happy days, and thanks for a pleasant visit.

We were in the area for a family wedding and had a great stay. Catherine was so helpful, even letting us check in early so we could get changed. The rooms were spotless, and breakfast the next morning had loads of choice, from cereal to a cooked meal. An amazing B&B. We'd gladly recommend it and stay again.
