We had two bedrooms, which worked ideally for me, my wife and daughter. The place was clean and very well presented, and it's a quiet, comfortable base for day trips around Yorkshire and beyond. We were visiting from Australia and loved it. You do need to drive out for food in the evenings, but there are lots of places to choose from, especially in Tadcaster and Whethby. I'd stay again in a heartbeat and hope to make it back soon.

The cottage was beautiful, with great views, good Wi-Fi and warm central heating. The water pressure wasn't great, but it was workable. I had an impeccable six-day stay. I'd give it 10/10 and recommend it, which is rare for me. Love Australia.

It was a charming cottage with good amenities, and a pleasant walk took us to a couple of friendly local pubs.
