Jackie, the owner, was polite, pleasant and welcoming, and seemed happy to help with anything. We were delighted with our room, which was very clean and well maintained, with lovely soft beds. There was free Wi-Fi and a good selection of tea, coffee and biscuits. We could also use the sitting room, though we didn't. Breakfast was a knockout: lots of cereals, fruit, soft drinks and bottled water, plus a bowl of fresh strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. The cooked breakfast was delicious and beautifully prepared. This is probably the best B&B we've stayed in.

We had a warm welcome, a comfortable room and a great breakfast during our three-night stay at STATION FARM GUEST HOUSE from 5/4/14 to 8/4/14. The village pub is about a five-minute walk away and serves good food. It's also a great base for exploring, with good train links to York, Leeds and elsewhere. We had a great time.

I've now had two breaks at this welcoming guest house. The bedrooms and guest areas are clean and comfortable, and Jackie serves a very good breakfast with lots of choices. I'll stay again.

We felt very welcome, and both the rooms and breakfast were excellent. It's close to the station, handy for trips into York.
