The surroundings really lift your spirits, with trees, open grounds and that amazing barn. We spent time together through stormy weather with candlelight and log fires, which made it feel like being back in simpler times. The house itself is warm and welcoming, with roomy, comfortable lounges, a huge kitchen and dining room, and three staircases. There was plenty of hot water for the lovely roll-top baths. Such a beautiful place for a group gathering, and I can't wait to return to Pitcalzean House. 🙏❤️

We’re still hearing from guests about how much fun and how special the weekend felt, and I wish we could have another wedding there every year. In June 2023, we rented the whole property, including the main house, smaller back house and barn. The rooms were spacious, full of character and beautiful, and staying in the manor felt like stepping into another time in the best way. Fiona made the planning easy from start to finish and gave us great vendor recommendations. We got married on Knockfarrel Hill, came back to Pitcalzean for drinks in the garden, then had a catered dinner in the dining room before dancing in the barn. It all worked so well. Pitcalzean House will always mean a lot to us. I'm only just getting around to writing this, but better late than never.

The barn was a highlight for me. It felt ideal for breathwork or yoga, and just as good for relaxing and reconnecting. There was a peaceful energy there that made it easy to settle into the moment. Pitcalzean House is set in beautiful, light-filled surroundings in Nigg, with nature all around. Each room has its own character, and the whole place was immaculate while still feeling warm and welcoming. I came away feeling restored and grateful. It’s a special place to share with people, unwind and feel inspired, and I’m already thinking about a return visit. 🌿✨

There are lovely walks and beaches within an hour's drive, and Fiona was quick and helpful with all our questions. We spent a week there in late July 2025 as a group of 30 adults and had a great time. The house is comfortable and beautifully decorated, with enough bathrooms and showers for everyone. The kitchen was great for making big meals. We'd happily stay again, 10/10.

We really did get our fairytale wedding at Pitcalzean. The bedrooms were beautiful and there was comfortable space for all our guests, who have all said how incredible the venue was. We hired the house for the weekend, and when we lost our evening venue at a local hall, Fiona rallied around and did everything she could to support us. She was so helpful throughout. Fiona, we can't thank you enough. We'll definitely be back, and I'd recommend this place for a wedding without hesitation. She's a friend for life! Love always, The Bremners 🤍🤍🤍
