We’ll definitely return. The rooms were lovely, and getting there was easy thanks to the clear directions and instructions. It’s perfectly placed for the airport, and they’ve thought of the little things too, including a teapot and water for the fridge.

The White House feels like a home from home, with a warm welcome, every amenity and good value for money. It’s a lovely character house, a welcome change from the anonymous concrete hotels around airports. I always come here when flying from Stansted, especially for a crazy early flight, since it’s about five minutes away by cab. Nothing is too much trouble. Mike offers very competitive car parking at £7 a day, and he and Linda help make travel stress-free at any hour. Keep up the good work, Mike and Linda. It can’t be easy with us pesky, needy travellers!

The couple who run this place were lovely and accommodating, and their communication was excellent. They gave us all the details we needed about transport and parking, and even provided breakfast to take to the airport. It’s a great option for a quick night before an early flight, especially if you can take the bus to the airport. We’d come back. Thanks!

The hosts are very friendly, and you can leave your car there during your holiday for a small fee. The cosy rooms have super-comfy beds and clean bathrooms and toilets, and the place feels like home. It’s conveniently close to the Stansted terminal. I can’t think of a better place to stay before an early flight, and I keep coming back.

The beds are super comfortable, and there was a great breakfast in the room. It’s an excellent place to stay when flying into or out of Stanstead, with the rental car park only five minutes away.
