Sue and Mike are such kind, lovely hosts, and they made the stay special. King Rusty the spaniel is handsome too. The bed and breakfast was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast served was scrumptious. I’d highly recommend it.

I felt relaxed and welcome during my one-night stay on a motorcycle tour of Wales. Mike and Sue were accommodating, and the place is very biker friendly, with more than one room available in the Guest Annex. My bike had secure-feeling parking, which mattered to me. It’s a short taxi ride to Portmadog, though not close enough to walk. The hilltop view was epic, the shower was good, and breakfast was made to order. There was free WiFi, a Netflix and Amazon-type stick in the room, plus lots of reading material and even board games.

The house is warm and inviting, and it’s so quiet around it, with Welsh wildlife all around. The ornaments and photo frames were my favourite, and as a LOTR fan I especially appreciated the Gandalf mat outside the front door. Mike, Sue and handsome Rusty made us feel very welcome. My mum and I had a great night’s sleep in the comfy beds and woke to the lovely smell of the breakfast we’d chosen. Mike, I won’t forget your scrambled eggs, I’ve never had better. We have a caravan on the site across the land and came to open it for the season, but a storm-damaged window had left it too damp to stay in, so we booked this beautiful B&B at the last minute. The customer service was fantastic. We’ll visit again, and I’d recommend it to anyone.

Sue and Mike run a lovely, friendly family B&B, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The bedroom was very clean and breakfast was superb. Special mention for Rusty Spanner the dog and Mike’s magnificent man cave! I’d definitely stay again if I came back to the area.
