They even tracked down something we’d left in our van and mailed it to us at no charge. That kind of service keeps us coming back every year. The rooms are spotless, the value is great, and you’re right by the beach. We used to stay at Sarnfaen just up the road. The WiFi could be better, but for us that’s a small inconvenience. We’d definitely recommend it.

I really liked the caravan, but after dark the park was pitch black. On our November break, I had to use my phone torch to find my way around from about 5pm. With the money Away Resorts makes, I can't understand why there isn't any street lighting.

There was a great mood around the site, and the kids were happy roaming about on bikes and scooters. We’d come back. The main thing I’d change is the traffic flow: after the first few arrows, it’s guesswork which way cars are supposed to go. We ended up pulling onto people’s grass to let vehicles pass, and a few drivers wouldn’t back up at crossroads. Maybe the heat had something to do with it. The place is handy for families and friends, right beside a lovely sandy beach, and dogs are welcome. The dogs I saw were well behaved. There’s loads to do, including a chip shop, pizza and kebabs, a bar, a well stocked arcade, play areas and an indoor pool. Parking felt secure, guest services were friendly and keen to help, and the map on the wall made it easy to locate our caravan. You can rent or buy caravans here. It was busy over the Bank Holiday.

There’s a playground to keep the kids busy and an indoor pool, with an arcade next door that gave us hours of fun. The park is in lovely surroundings, right by the beach, and is very well looked after. We spent a week in a luxury caravan that felt like home, comfortable and equipped with pretty much everything, including a washing machine and dishwasher.

A short stroll takes you to miles of sandy beach where dogs are welcome. The static caravan site itself is quiet, clean and tidy. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it so much that we’ll be back soon.
