Barry runs the site and sorted out our booking, and he’s friendly and helpful. We got there on Monday 21st July when it was quiet, and chose pitch 11. It was level enough that we didn’t need ramps, with shared drinking water and EHU. The two showers and two toilets in the men’s and ladies’ rooms are very clean, and the showers are hot. I also appreciated having a seat outside the wet area to dry off and get dressed. Within half a mile there’s a decent pub for drinks and food, though it had no kitchen on Tuesday. The bus stop for Porthmadog and the route to Barmouth are about the same distance away. Talybont train station has a great scenic rail route. The room rating is for my motorhome!

The site was easy to find, peaceful, with lovely views and nice showers. I stayed a couple of nights with my girlfriend after coming down from Warrington. We met Barry on the morning we left, and he seemed a top lad. My one complaint is that departure day could’ve been sunnier, but I can’t hold Barry responsible for that! Lol.

A lovely little site with sea views. The ground is a bit sloped, but it’s well maintained and gives easy access to local attractions. The toilet block is clean and the hot showers are free. Highly recommend.

Barry was so friendly and accommodating, and really helpful throughout our stay. This is a cute, relaxed campsite that doesn’t feel huge or overwhelming. Everything was very clean, including the toilets and the block with hot showers. There’s an electric hookup and a water tap nearby. Barmouth is an 8 minute drive, and Dylans is a great place to eat about a mile away. Thanks for a lovely stay.
