Ty Newydd B&B

I found it really convenient for my towpath cycle rides, right beside the canal. It's quiet, with beautiful scenery, clean and well appointed, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and hearty, and the historic setting and wildlife nearby made it a lovely place to stay.

We spent a week at Bullrush Barn and found the accommodation very clean and great. The owners communicated spot on. There are plenty of walks along the towpath, as it's almost next to the canal, and the location and views are lovely. The electric car charging point came in handy since we came in an EV. Brecon is a short drive away for essentials, and The White Hart Inn nearby was great for food and a pint.

We booked Marina View Cottage through Airbnb for a week. It's very spacious, clean and modern, with a good sized private garden. The kitchen had a dishwasher and washing machine, and the living room had a Smart TV with Soundbar, so it was very well equipped. The setting is quiet and secluded, with nice canal walks close by. Rachel was a friendly, responsive host. A great fit for a small family or group of friends wanting a countryside getaway.

The breakfast was top notch, so tasty, and the breakfast room and conservatory were fab. We also used the garden for yoga, looking out over the hills and beautiful scenery. I arranged a walking and wellness weekend in the Brecons, with two nights at Ty Newydd B&B. Rachel was great to communicate with from the start and very accommodating when I changed the accommodation type because our numbers shifted closer to the date. The rooms were comfy and had everything you'd need. A wonderful stay, and we'll be back next year.
