Louise and Peter, along with Buddy, Jasper and Hermione, have created such a special atmosphere. It feels like being in someone's home without ever feeling in the way. Breakfast is simple home cooking, good local quality and not pretentious. I loved being able to book by phone and pay in cash while trying to spend more time offline. The whole place has a slow, reflective feel, and we really loved our stay. We'll definitely be back. Our turret room was an amazing octagonal space, wood panelled from wall to ceiling, warm and cosy with breathtaking loch views. The room makes clever use of the space and feels much bigger than you'd expect. Dunivaig has completely changed what I expect from a B&B. It felt like stepping into a romantic novel, almost another world. The quintessential bed and breakfast experience.

It's a characterful old house, and the rooms at the front have great views. You can walk into Tarbut, which is close by. The owner was friendly and helpful, and they kept our bikes in their shed for security. Parking is on the street. Breakfast was traditional. We hadn't realised there were cats.

The lochside views are lovely, and the owners were friendly and knew their way around local amenities and ferry times. Breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of choices. It's about a 10-minute walk to Tarbert centre and a 15-minute drive to Kennacraig ferry terminal.

A comfortable, quiet room with a great view from the bedroom. The hosts were welcoming, and breakfast was great. It's an excellent B&B a short distance from central Tarbert.

We were on a short bike tour after riding the Kilberry loop, and this was a great place to stay. Peter and Louise were really nice and helpful, and there's an ideal bike shed. The house is lovely, with nice en suite rooms and great views, and breakfast was fantastic. It's about a 10-minute walk into town. We had dinner at Cafe Cadora and a couple of beers at the Frigate. All in all, excellent! 👌😃
