Danny and Sarah clearly take pride in giving guests a great holiday. The accommodation was spotless, had good facilities, and they were on hand with helpful advice when needed. The private garden is a lovely sun trap at any time of day. Cholwell Barn is well placed for Dartmoor, day trips to the coast, and a couple of excellent gardens nearby. No hesitation recommending it for a relaxing break.

The garden and surroundings, including the veranda, were so relaxing, and we found gardens, Tavistock, walks and beaches easy to reach. Daniel was friendly and full of useful information, and we couldn’t have asked for better hosts, including Sarah and super friendly Dart. We had a superb week in mid June 2023 at the Apartment, Cholwell Barn. From the moment we came up the drive, Daniel welcomed us, and we were struck by how spacious and clean the property and equipment were. Highly recommended, and a return visit is on our wish list. Danny and Sarah even had a pressure hose for cleaning the bikes, bliss, and loads of secure garage space for them. The local Dartmoor tracks are excellent, making this a fantastic place for a mountain biking trip. Loved it 😊
