The rooms are self-contained and there’s a kitchen too, which gave us extra room to relax and some privacy. Plenty of pubs and places to explore nearby. Boyton Farmhouse is a beautiful house close to the moor, just right for walkers, but also a lovely spot to retreat for a few days. We had a great break and I’m sure you would too.

Tavistock is a lovely town just down the road, with little shops, a big indoor market and plenty of coffee shops for a break from shopping. You can get to Dartmoor easily for walks, and there are good pubs a short drive away. Plymouth isn’t far if you’re after more to do. The B&B itself is quiet, roomy and well equipped, a relaxing place to recharge whether you’re staying a few days or longer.

The welcome was warm and genuine, and we really enjoyed our stay. Boyton Farmhouse is tucked away, so it feels like a proper escape, though the nearby town is still convenient and walkers are well placed here. It’s very comfortable and presented beautifully. We’d like to come back soon, and would recommend it to friends.
