We come several times a year, and this time had Sunday lunch with a group of ten. The roast was delicious, portions were generous, and the menu was excellent. The old pub is bright, roomy and beautifully decorated, with a lovely setting and plenty of parking. Service was excellent too.

A roaring fire made the place even nicer. I had the special ham on Saturday and it was delicious, and I liked the Stokes condiments as well. Great service and a perfect location. 🤩🔥

We found this spot through the park4night app while travelling by campervan to France via Plymouth. There's a great little site overlooking dartmoor where you can stay overnight for free. The pub is super cosy and dog friendly, and George and the rest of the team were really friendly. The food was fantastic. We love food, and lots of pubs have brought in dishes, but this little find was quite different. I had the pork chop, cooked perfectly, tasty and moist, just wow. My wife had the pork belly and loved it too. I'd travel back just for that dish. On a walk round the village, local people were even sharing a few free apples.

We spent the night in our truck through Brit Stops. The Mary Tavy Inn has friendly staff, excellent beer and food, and a lovely pub. Nothing to fault. 💪😎🤙
