Afternoon tea in the dining room was delicious, served with a good-sized pot of hot tea. The old building is a real gem and clearly cared for with love. We were welcomed warmly and looked after perfectly from start to finish. A lovely find, and well worth visiting if you want to treat someone.

Dawn and Danny made this a lovely stay. It's a cosy, welcoming place to relax, and the breakfast was delicious, cooked by someone who clearly knows their way around the kitchen. I didn't try dinner, though the menu looked fab. 🙏🏼❤️

We had to leave sooner than planned, so unfortunately didn't get to try dinner at our host's place. We hadn't even realized that was an option. Breakfast was amazing, especially the sausage, one of the best I've had, and the best black pudding too. She shared her supplier with me, and I've ordered two black puddings!

We're already looking forward to coming back next year. This was our second visit, and we really like the location. The room we stay in is comfortable and lovely, and the accommodation is kept to a high standard. Breakfast is lovely, and nothing is too much trouble. Such a friendly welcome and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The tea was the highlight for me, and the food was incredible, with wonderful flavor, quality, and presentation. You can tell the family puts a lot of care into what they serve. My mother, father, and I spent one night at The Foundry in Colebrookdale, and it was a memorable stay at this charming family-run place. The staff welcomed us warmly, and I felt at home right away. Our room was gorgeous, comfortable, elegant, and thoughtfully put together. The service, accommodation, and food exceeded my expectations. I can hardly recommend it enough and am already keen to return.
