There was a lovely welcome when we came in, and the staff were very friendly. I’m a Yeovil Town supporter and visited today for our FA Trophy cup match against Telford fc. The pub is large, with a good choice of beers and ciders. Our coach dropped us outside the ground, and it was about a 10-minute flat walk from there. We had a delicious toasted sandwich and cooked crisps on the £5 special deal. They let our fans sing football chants, which made for a great atmosphere. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you to all the staff, and I’d recommend it.

We stayed for pudding even though we were stuffed, which says it all. The chips were amazing, and the meal was fresh and home-cooked. As a family of four, we thought it was really good value for a decent meal. We’d decided to give our local a try since the recent takeover, and had a lovely Saturday lunch. The new owners gave us such a warm welcome and took the time to greet us. We’ll certainly be back xxx

The freshly made, home-cooked food was amazing, and both my mum and I struggled to finish our dishes. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the new owners are great. We had a lovely dinner at The Swan this evening, and I’d absolutely recommend it. It was very quiet, probably because January payday is coming up, which was a real shame, but it didn’t spoil the atmosphere. I don’t live in Telford anymore, though I visit often to see family and friends. I’d encourage locals to support this place or risk losing another great venue. We’ll definitely be back soon.
