The Kings Arms

That Valentine's Dinner was really exceptional, and we enjoyed it so much. The food is always amazing, and the staff are consistently friendly and helpful, going out of their way to accommodate us. The King's Arms is welcoming, and although the rooms are minimalistic, they're clean, warm, comfortable, and perfectly adequate. Breakfasts were excellent, and the food was good and plentiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we felt welcome throughout. The pub is nicely decorated, with comfy lounge furniture and a cosy dining room and bar. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the shower was very good. A proper wardrobe, dressing table, and, most of all, a television would have been welcome additions. We'll definitely stay again.

We had a really enjoyable evening at Kings Arms, using a voucher we'd won in a competition, and were impressed by the friendly service. To start, we shared chorizo prawns and Korean slow roasted pork, both full of flavour and beautifully presented. The steak pie was a standout for me, with tender, succulent meat and perfect chips, while the orange duck was also very enjoyable and cooked well. We finished with a light, fresh lemon posset and homemade shortbread. We'd happily recommend it and look forward to coming back.

The Kings Arms is full of charm and character, and we were greeted warmly. Our room was spacious and extremely clean, with a very comfortable bed tended to by Caitlin. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it.
