The pub felt so cozy with its fireplace and atmosphere, and the cocktails were lovely. The pornstar martini made my evening. There are fields, a little town and a river nearby for walks. We had a really enjoyable two-night stay, with breakfast included and loads of different options to choose from. The room was okay, though I wish it had been bigger. The food was amazing, especially the sea bass, which was the best I've ever tried. I'd love to come back for dinner.

Two different people recommended this pub while we were staying in the area for a few nights, and I'm so glad we took their advice. We're from Scotland and thought the food was 10/10 across the board, with incredible flavour, texture and presentation. We’d love to return.

The pork roast I ordered was delicious, with crackling cooked just right and crisp. The vegetables were very good, the gravy was proper, and the plates were hot. The staff were attentive and friendly too. We had Sunday lunch there last weekend, and it was truly the best pub roast I've ever had. Thanks for a real treat.

We stopped for the night on a furniture-collecting road trip. The building looked so cozy from outside, with candles flickering on the tables, and we got a warm, accommodating welcome. The two staff members were rushed off their feet with a full house, but the food, drinks and service were still excellent. Our room was lovely, and breakfast was delicious, made with high-quality products. Thank you.

Parking took a bit of perseverance, but it was worth it. We went for Sunday lunch and the food was fabulous. A lovely pub, with very welcoming staff and a great atmosphere. I'd highly recommend it.
