I've travelled to Skye many times, and this was the best place I've stayed. I was here for three days for work, and the views from the windows were breathtaking. Fiona even leaves binoculars and wildlife and birdwatching books on the window ledge. The room was spotless, and as an ex-sergeant major, I know what a spotless room looks like. There was a separate living room with a TV and full Sky TV channels, plus a toaster, kettle, plenty of snacks, milk, tea and coffee. The room had its own large bathroom, and the shower was so good I only got out when my fingers had gone wrinkly. The landlords were kind and friendly, very typically Scottish, and even drove me into town to meet friends for a drink. It's about 10-15 minutes from Portree, with taxis available or a short drive. Thanks again to both of them for such a memorable stay. I've asked my company to try to make this our regular place for work trips. Thank you, Fiona.

Fiona and Willie are lovely people, and we had a really nice stay. The bedroom was spacious with a stunning view, and there was a separate lounge as well as a separate toilet and shower room. Everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We stayed three nights and would definitely come back. Thank you!

Fiona did so much to make our stay as good as possible and was incredibly generous. We had a lovely time at old nurses cottage, with a spacious, comfortable room.

The view out the window was outstanding, and Fiona was the best host. We had our own separate area, with breakfast supplies in the room and a fridge, toaster and kettle. You'll need a car to see Skye, and it's a good idea to book ahead if you want to eat out in the evening.

The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and made sure we had plenty to eat. We had a large bedroom with a breakfast dining spot by the window, plus a separate bathroom and a cozy living area for watching TV in the evenings. The place was really clean and the view was beautiful. We had an incredible stay, highly recommend.
