The restaurant and breakfast were the highlights. We chose the cooked breakfast and it was all really tasty. There’s also a lovely sunroom overlooking the loch, with games to play and books to read. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed at Redwood House for three nights on Skye, and I loved the location. There was fresh air, sheep bleating, and the sound of a Cuckoo at night. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure was wonderful, and the water got very hot.

We’re already looking forward to coming back next year. Redwood House is right in the heart of Skye, making it easy to get to the well-known sights. The views were stunning, and with a bit of luck you might spot otters by the shore in the morning or evening. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and breakfast each morning was delicious and kept us full for the day’s adventures. Many thanks again!

The food was delicious and the service was friendly and prompt. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we’d definitely come back. It’s a great base for seeing the northern part of the Isle. We didn’t have to wait for dinner, unlike in Portree, and the food was ten times better.

That sunroom overlooking the water is a lovely place to relax and unwind. The food was amazing, the setting picturesque, and the staff superb. I’d highly recommend staying at Redwood House.

The road to the property was very rough, and it’s quite isolated. Still, overall it was okay. We had dinner there and the food was good, especially the brownie, which was one of the best I’ve ever had. Breakfast was good too, and the rooms were nice, though the value for money felt too high.
