I spent a few days here, and the service was second to none. The staff take the time to understand you and what you need. Ian and Jake especially made me feel at home, and reception were welcoming and proactive too. When I asked for a table, they'd already booked one. Breakfast was just as impressive, with freshly cooked food they were happy to customise, plus a generous choice of cold items such as fruit salad, cereals, and meats. The location is beautiful, and the rooms are very reasonably priced for the service. Checkout at 11am was a nice bonus. I couldn't recommend the Hare & Hounds more. Thank you to the whole team, you're a credit to the profession.

The breakfast was a real highlight for our group, with a great choice of hot and cold food. The hotel is dog friendly, and the rooms were cleaned and the beds made before we returned in the late afternoons. We stayed four days while visiting the Cotswolds. I enjoyed my steak on the first night's dinner, though others at the table said they'd had better. As a group, we decided to try local restaurants instead of eating there each night. One evening we got back at 9.45pm wanting a drink, but the bar was already closed, which felt a little early to us. Someone in our group also found the shower pressure low, a bit of a problem with her long hair. It's a lovely hotel and, all in all, worth staying in.

Dinner was exceptional in the stunning restaurant, and the service was perfect throughout. We also wanted for nothing at breakfast, which was fantastic. The hotel itself is beautiful, as is its setting. Our room was spacious and very well equipped, and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and good parking made the stay even better. We'll definitely return.

We've stayed here a few times over the past ten years, and it's a relaxing, charming hotel in a good spot for enjoying the Cotswolds. The grounds are pretty, with an unused enclosed tennis court that's a great place to let your dog off lead. Dogs are welcome throughout except in the formal restaurant. Westonbirt Arboretum is very close by, and the service is charming and attentive.

The grounds were lovely, and the hotel itself is beautiful. Our room was comfortable and really nice. We were on half board, so we had dinner and breakfast included, and both were delicious. I liked that breakfast came in modest portions, which meant I could try a bit of everything.
