Our experience at the gym didn’t match the warm welcome we got elsewhere. The gym staff felt tense and unwelcoming, and didn’t show the same warmth or professionalism. As someone from a minority background, I was left wondering if my appearance affected how I was treated. Whatever the reason, every guest should feel respected and comfortable. The gym team could use more customer service and inclusivity training. Maybe this job isn’t a fit for them. At the hotel itself, we felt very welcome from the start. Chen was polite, professional and kind, and went out of his way to come and set up a travel cot for our baby. Hilton is lucky to have him representing it. The breakfast buffet staff were also friendly and engaged warmly with us and our baby, making it feel like a family friendly experience. The hotel was lovely, and Chen and the breakfast team really stood out.

The grounds are beautiful for a quiet walk, and the staff made us feel very welcome. We stayed at Hilton Puckrup Hall with our newborn and found the rooms clean and comfortable, a good place for us to relax as a family. Parking was easy, and we really enjoyed the indoor pool, which was a highlight. There were lots of dogs around, so it seemed very pet friendly, and it was nice to see people enjoying the golf course. This suits couples and families who want peaceful time together, rather than high energy entertainment. Highly recommend it for a calm family break.

The location and parking were fantastic, and it was a great place to stay for a night. I thought the old fashioned style was cool, though personally it felt more suited to older people since I prefer modern hotels. Still a great hotel!

Steph, Charles and the team did themselves proud. We held my father's wake there recently, and the venue was perfect for a fitting end to a wonderful day celebrating his life. The attention to detail was amazing, the food was great, and they were flexible around what we needed.

The grounds are beautiful and well kept, and the pool area was excellent. We stayed at this Hilton property twice, on 28th February and 8th March. It’s well built, though the hotel feels somewhat dated. Breakfast was very good too, with friendly, attentive staff who made it especially pleasant. Check in on 28th February was frustrating. Guests who arrived after us got rooms before us. Mr. Chin was helpful and professional, but the lady was a bit rude. The hotel also seems strict and somewhat inflexible about early check in and late check out, often expecting extra charges, which felt excessive to us. We may give it another try this summer and see whether things have improved. It has a lot of potential if managed well.
