Donna is lovely and very friendly, and we enjoyed our four-night stay at the Deganwy this week. A reserved parking space is a real bonus in Looe, and we appreciated it. The wifi was super fast and rock solid, handy in an area where mobile signal can be a bit intermittent. The location is ideal, just a few hundred yards' walk to Looe’s shops, historical pubs and great restaurants. Breakfast at the Deganwy was awesome, cooked to order, and the 'Full Welsh' had everything you could ask for. You won’t need lunch after that. Our room was very clean and the bathroom spotless. The bed felt rather soft, and the bedding and towels seemed well used and due for replacement. There was no privacy lock on the bathroom door. We’d happily stay again.

We were met with an unfriendly welcome. The room was stuffy and smelled bad, and the photos didn’t come close to what we found. We’d agreed on a breakfast time, but nobody was there. I rang the bell and called, with no answer, so I had to go into town for breakfast. We’d planned to stay three nights, but left after the first. That was a shame, as the town and location were very charming.

Breakfast was a real highlight, especially the fried bread and sausages, with plenty of choice. We spent six lovely days with Donna at the Deganwy. It's an easy, short walk into town, and the rooms were clean and tidy. The ensuite was good, though the water pressure in ours was low and we had to wait for hot water. If you want a well-run, clean guesthouse near Looe centre and the beach, this is hard to beat. Give it a try.

Donna was a fab host, and we had a great stay last week. The room was comfortable and really good, and breakfast was spot on with plenty to choose from. We'll definitely be back.

From the front of the house there are great views over the Harbour. We stayed at this warm, friendly guest house during our July holiday and had a wonderful time. Donna was welcoming, helpful, and a fabulous hotelier. There was a good breakfast selection, and if we wanted to eat earlier the next morning, we just had to tell her and she'd have it ready. The rooms were cleaned after guests. I'd definitely recommend staying here, and we hope to return one day. Thanks for such a lovely stay 😍
