Four of us stayed for my son’s Royal Navy Presentation and were impressed with everything. The apartment was all 5 star. There’s also a great Tapas Restaurant 100m away.

After a long journey, Dave the proprietor met us, made us a pot of tea and showed us to our room. It wasn’t large, but it was immaculately clean, with extremely comfortable twin beds. The shower room was gorgeous, and the peaceful room looked over part of the garden. At breakfast, Dave cooked delicious food sourced locally, which we enjoyed in the lovely, airy conservatory overlooking the garden. He had plenty of information to share if needed. We’ll return and thoroughly recommend the Dovers.

We arrived extremely early, but Dave made us feel welcome and comfortable, and nothing seemed too much trouble. The breakfasts were superb on both mornings, with plenty of choice. It’s an excellent B&B with elegant, homely decor and a wonderful host. Thanks so much, Dave, for the directions and scenic route suggestions. We had a very enjoyable stay. Definitely a wonderful place to stay.
