The food was decent, but many of the menu items we wanted weren't available. Service was pretty bad and not especially friendly. Once we were seated, we were ignored, so each time we wanted another drink with our meal, we had to get up, go to the bar, order and wait there. One of the starters was a tiny portion.

The restaurant offered a wide choice, and the food was freshly cooked and very well presented. Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order with local ingredients, and the bacon was superb. It's a really nice hotel with friendly staff and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that all the guests seemed to enjoy. The staff and management looked after us very well.

The lentil soup and chicken kebab were delicious, and the portions were generous. The staff were polite and friendly too. We stopped for lunch while nearby for a few days at this lovely hotel. The steak was gorgeous, though the chips with it were frozen, so that part was just okay. Sadly, my pint of Guinness wasn't great.

Breakfast and dinner were amazing, and the beer garden must be lovely when the sun's out. The hotel is beautifully presented throughout. Ralph, the manager, and all the staff are attentive, friendly, and happy to help. When we had trouble with the AV charger outside, Ralph went above and beyond to sort it out. The place is very well run, and the staff take a lot of pride in their work. We had a lovely stay.
