The beds were comfortable, and the place had the basics for cooking, including plates and utensils. There was some damage across the rooms, but nothing major. Good value.

Getting there was a bit tricky since it’s not centrally located. The house itself was clean and organised, with instructions for how to use things. We let ourselves in using the key kept in the security box outside, as the host wasn’t there to greet us. The shower pressure was really poor.

We booked at the last minute for a father-and-son motorbike trip around the NC500, so I wasn’t expecting much. The converted house was a lovely little apartment, and the decor and facilities were pleasantly clean and tidy. Parking is limited, but manageable.

The self-catering house was clean and tidy, and there was plenty of hot water. With four bedrooms, though, having just one bathroom was a drawback.
