All the staff were friendly and, even better, really competent at their jobs. The breakfast was excellent, and I’d definitely stay again. I was there on 22-Nov-25 for a send-off for an old friend from my Saudi Ariabia days. The hotel will know who that was. Dunnet Head, very close by, is worth visiting as mainland Britain's most northerly point, but dress warmly as it’s windy and cool this time of year. If you need a bottle at Inverness Airport, there’s a huge selection to choose from.

We stayed for seven nights in a clean, spacious room, and the food was good. They went out of their way to fit us in for all seven consecutive nights. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. It’s definitely a nice place to stay.

The beds were really comfortable, and the place was quiet despite the bar downstairs. We ate well, with hearty, filling food. Ordering breakfast the night before worked perfectly for us, what a sensible idea. The staff were fantastic and made the whole stay feel warm and welcoming. It’s right on beautiful Dunnet beach in wild North Eastern Scotland, with Thurso and Wick both within easy reach. We visited both.

I ate far too much because the food was fantastic. I think the chef is celiac, and there were lots of GF options with no worries about cross contamination. A great place to eat.

We ended up here after our ferry was cancelled and we needed somewhere to stay at short notice. The woman looking after us was great fun and even put the Newcastle match on in the bar. The food was really nice, and the rooms were lovely and clean with a comfy bed. We had a cracking night. A nice place to stay if you’re in the area!
